VITA 67.1 and 67.2 products are the early VPX products featuring RF cables and adapters in a small rectangular housing form factor. These evolved from a 4-position to an 8-position using a standard SMPM interface. Embedded computing applications use either fixed adapters or cables to route signals to the backplane. The cables may be removed if any damage occurs.
